Product Description

A straight bar load cell (or a strain gauge) is a device that converts up to 5 kg of force (pressure) into an electrical signal. The device measures the change in electrical resistance that occurs when the bar is strained (e.g. by pressure or force).

With this device, you can measure the weight of an object, the change in weight over time, or the presence of an object by sensing the strain or load on a surface. The straight bar load cell is made of aluminum alloy and can read up to 1KG of weight.

The device has four lead wires that can be connected to an HX711 A/D Pressure Sensor. It works with a driving voltage of 5-10V and produces an output voltage that varies with the force applied to it.

To install the device, you need to fix one end through the screw hole and leave the other end floating. You should follow the label to indicate the direction of the gravitational force. You should not push the white plastic cover part of the device directly, as it may cause damage.
